Kevin shows students how taking standardized tests is really a game and all they need is to “learn the rules.” Kevin is the author of two books, Cyber Junkie: Escape the Gaming and Internet Trap (Hazelden, 2010), and Movers, Dreamers, and Risk Takers: Unlocking the Power of ADHD (Hazelden, available 2012), and speaks around the world on overcoming learning challenges, and excelling.
Alex Paul, a graduate in Biochemistry and Physics from the University of Michigan and presently in medical school, excels in breaking down the test into a series of easily-mastered steps. With Alex’s system, students quickly learn that the ACT is mostly a test of how you take a test. Alex is one of those rare geniuses who imparts his wisdom to others, and leaves students feeling much more confident in their own abilities.
David Golden, M.A., grew up in Bloomfield and Troy, is a graduate of The Roeper School, and has his B.A. and M.A. from the U. of Michigan in education. He has taught in the Dominican Republic, as well as the Ypsilanti School District. David brings a rare creativity which he uses to ascertain the unique way an individual’s mind works. He then develops a creative approach that plays to the student’s unique strengths.
